Easy as pie... It All Starts With You: Just give us a call or e-mail and tell us what you would like to learn - a special recipe, technique, inspiration or ingredient, fixing that stubborn recipe - anything at all. The Menu: After our discussion, our staff will develop a custom lesson plan just for you. This may take 3-5 days, please be patient. After you approve the lesson plan, we will set a date for the class. These are participation classes. We will instruct and demonstrate, but you will be doing most of the work. Let's Get Cookin': Option A: Most of the lessons take place in our vintage, 1950's-style kitchen. Our kitchen can accomodate 4 guests quite nicely. We will have all of the ingredients and equipment ready and waiting for you. Just come on by, relax and get set for food, fun and learning. Option B: If you would prefer to have your lesson in your own home, we can do that too. However, you are responsible for all ingredients and equipment. Our staff will e-mail you a very specific list of needed groceries and recomended equipment. The cost of the groceries is your responsibility - over and above the cost of the the lesson. Handouts: Each student will receive a packet with terms, techniques, chef's tips, all recipies, and references. Cost: Each teaching session costs $100 for a private class plus $50 for each additional person (up to 4 people total). Payment shall be due before the class begins. At this time, only cash or personal cheque will be accepted. Class Length: Each class will run approximately 3-4 hours depending on our goals and our efficiency. Liability: You agree to indemnify and hold Waiting for Gateau, it's subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, injury, damages, liability, claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, due to or arising out of your use of the Service. Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will Waiting for Gateau be liable to you, or any third party, for any indirect consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits arising from your use of the Service. Notwithstanding, anything to the contrary contained herein, Waiting for Gateau's liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to Waiting for Gateau for the service provided. Force Majeure: If either party is unable to perform any of its obligations hereunder by reason of fire or other casualty, strike, act or order of a public authority, bankruptcy, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of such party, then such party shall be excused from such performance during the pendancy of such cause. In the event such inability to perform shall continue longer than 5 days, either party may terminate any Agreement by giving notice to either party.
